Working for a UK wide consultancy, who are one of the largest and most successful or their kind with offices dotted across all of the country.This is a brand new position in a totally greenfield environment for a Property & Procurement Manager, reporting into the Head of Finance to join the business to maintain best commercial value, whilst ensuring smooth running of all facilities, new office openings, property management and Health & Safety.They are operating a really flexible working policy where there is an expectation of 2 days in the office a week, working from home for 3 days.Role and responsibilities: * Responsibility for the leadership of the Group procurement and property function within the Company * Ensure that all members of the team provide the highest standard of professionalism to external contacts and branches * Ensure good relationships are built and maintained with all suppliers * Compile, review and maintain the Company's Purchasing policy * Ensure the Company obtain the best possible deals from suppliers by effective negotiation and regular tendering of supplier contracts * Analysis of costs and investigation into areas of off-contract spend * Authorising payment of valid invoices * Review and negotiate all property leases, new and renewals * Facilitating the property maintenance of all branch properties including capital expenditure, and ensuring adherence to relevant lease and Company policy * Ensuring the Health & Safety aspect of each property is supported and co-ordinated in conjunction with the Company's H&S OfficerExperience and requirements: * Previous line management experience is essential and experience * Extensive experience within a similar role, with a proven track record in negotiation, contracts, property, facilities and procurement record * Strong planning and analytical skills * Ability to influence and work under pressure and against deadlines * Articulate communicator, both written and oral * Clear understanding of good governance in delivering consistent quality services * Pro-active and self-motivated * Mobile - prepared to travel where necessary * Ability to work collaboratively to gain results

You will also be responsible for leading competitive tender processes in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure value for money objectives are achieved.
